News & Information

As of January 1, 2008, Georgia Outdoor Sports was purchased by new owners. Brian Scarborough, Carrie Mentel and Emmet Cabaniss have been very busy in the last few months. We have been meeting our customers and are so happy to see lots of familiar faces and many new ones too. We have been bringing in loads of new inventory and new vendors. We are excited to now be carrying Under Armour. This is not the athletic stuff you see in sports stores but their new Hunt/Fish division for both men and women. We are also carrying Columbia for men and women and we are now a full Carhartt dealer with men’s, women’s and kids. Another new vendor for us is She Safari. We had so many requests for ladies hunting clothes and searched for something that was really designed for hunting. Many of you may recognize these ladies from the Outdoor Channel. They really do hunt and their clothes are top quality. Right now, we have a limited selection in the store but can get anything for you in a week. As we get closer to hunting season we will begin bringing in more.  (read more)
